Stainless steel tanged graphite is manufactured from expanded graphite foil reinforced with one or more insertions of tanged 0.10mm thick stainless steel.
It is commonly used as a gasket material in steam system applications, the petrochemical and chemical industries and as flange gaskets for piping and machinery.

• Temperature: -200°C up to +500°C (intermittent, dry), -200°C up to +650°C (intermittent, steam).
• Max Pressure: 140 bar.
• Soft, flexible with high recovery and no ageing.
• Impermeable to gases and liquids, inert, resistant to radiation and excellent resistance to thermal shock.
• Low coefficient of friction, long term stability and excellent residual stress.

Graphite gaskets are cut from pure graphite sheet with & without metal reinforcement, features excellent corrosion-resistance, high-and-low temperature resistance, good compression resilient and high intensity it can be used as sealing elements of pipe, valve, pump, pressure vessel, heat exchanger and condenser, etc. Other complex gaskets such as water gauge gasket and flange gasket with bolt holes are available. Wrapped with metallic stripe in the inner and outer circle borderline. Size and construction – custom made gasketsGaskets are available in ANSI B 16.21, other Standard Forms, or as custom made gaskets.

Graphite gasket sheets are used in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, mining, and pharmaceuticals. They are resistant to steam and most chemicals, and can be used in a wide range of temperatures.

• Temperature: Graphite gasket sheets can be used in temperatures ranging from -200°F to +500°F in oxidizing environments, and -240°F to +700°F in non-oxidizing environments.

• Chemical resistance: Graphite gasket sheets are resistant to most chemicals, but can be attacked by highly oxidizing acids like nitric and sulfuric acid

* It may consist of Asbestos (mainly, Compressed Asbestos Fibre Sheets) Grafoil (Pure Graphite Strips) and in some cases PTFE, depending upon gasket conditions.

Metal and Metal Jacketed Gaskets:
* Metal Gaskets are made of:
* Pure metal sheets in specified dimensions (i.e. Inner diameter & outer diameter and thickness). 
* Stainless Steel
* Copper, Aluminum

Metal Jacketed Gaskets are made of:
* Metal Jackets
* Filler Material (Asbestos, Metal Jacketed Gaskets)
* Copper, Aluminum, Lead, Soft Steel and Stainless Steel.
